Digital and Entrepreneurial Skills Developed in Module 1
Module 1 equips higher-education students and professionals with essential digital and entrepreneurial competences aligned with the DigComp and EntreComp frameworks. Through the study of community-led economies in Module 1, learners develop core digital skills such as information and data literacy, the ability to collaborate and communicate digitally, responsible and safe use of online tools, and basic digital content creation. These competences support the analysis of local contexts, interpretation of policy frameworks, and sharing of insights within diverse groups and settings.
Module 1 also trains entrepreneurial skills as strengthens learners’ capacity to identify opportunities, think critically and strategically, and understand how to mobilise local resources within community-led initiatives. Module 1 includes activities such as analysing territorial challenges, exploring the SDGs, and studying the LEADER approach that will help students translate ideas into practical proposals. Combined, these digital and entrepreneurial skills prepare learners to participate effectively in community-led projects, fostering innovation, inclusion, and sustainable local development.
